Abdoulie Touray

Couple of weeks ago, i’d contacted Abdoulie at his fosterparents in Hoevelaken. He is in the Netherlands for about 3 months. His fosterparents, fam. Duijnhouwer, sponsored his education so he could get a certificate.
Abdoulie is a guy from Gambia. He has just certificated at his school in Banjul, the GTTI annex.
This, the Gambia Technical Training Institute (GTTI), is the school were we’re going to. At his school we’ll continue the bicycleproject during our stay.
2 weeks ago he invited me at his ‘home’ in Hoevelaken to met him. It was very pleasant, he is a nice guy! He just got his certificate as a car mechanic.
I’d invited him at my work at the Serva Volvo in Nijkerk. Last week (monday) he stood in the garage at 8.15am. We worked almost the whole day togheter, and it was really fun and informative to both of us. Abdoulie is a good hard worker who isn’t workshy and shows much of enthusiasm
This week he’ll get back to Gambia and we arranged i’ll met him if i’m in Gambia. I’m looking forward to it!
He now had seen what we’re doing in Holland and then i’ll see what he does in Gambia.
